Featured Gemstone For December. Chlorite In Quartz

Chlorite is a rich rust color argile that can be found within clear quartz in certain countries such as Nepal and Brazil. Gazing into a chlorite quartz often reveals scenes of natural landscapes such as rolling hill sides, soft foliage and flourishing bushes. In this ring I have bezel set a fantastic Chlorite Quartz cabochon into oxidized sterling. This piece was completely hand fabricated. The triangular shank was hand carved to insure a comfortable fit. The entire ring was treated with special files to create a heavy texture and then all was oxidized black.
