As ancient as the moon itself, Moonstone holds the power of mystery. It has always been a sacred stone in India and is known as the Traveler's Stone for the protection it affords, especially at night.
 
In this ring I have bezel set a charming carved moonstone into sterling silver. The ring was completely hand fabricated and the shank was treated with special hammers to create a rough texture finish. After completion all was oxidized black to enhance the glow of the moonstone. The ring is a size 7 and can be resized. The moonstone carving measures 12mm in width and is 5mm in depth.
